Time to question
Morgan Fairchild again ...
She does not seem
particularly cooperative.

Synopsis: As all expectant parents do, Brennan
and Booth turn their minds to toys in "The
Prince in the Plastic." Unlike most
parents-to-be, however, their toy thoughts are
mixed with murder when a body is connected to a

It's pilot
season, and a slew of comedy
pilots are getting ready for
production. But a half-hour
project called Workers
Comp is
taking a different route to the
small screen. First, it was
written by two 19 year olds:
Castille Landon and Harrison
Sanborn. Within weeks of them
completing the script, the pilot
was funded, with David Sauers (Taking
Woodstock)
and former Universal Studios
legal exec Mark Wooster
producing. It has now been fully
cast and is set to begin
production April 10 in Tampa,
Fla. Morgan Fairchild leads the
cast of the pilot, which also
includes Robert Carradine,
Charley Koontz, Castille Landon
and Jennifer Lee Wiggins. Workers
Comp is
a workplace comedy about a
family insurance business owned
by Joan (Fairchild) and the
often bizarre comp claims they
are forced to manage. Fairchild
is with Rebel and McGowan Mgmt;
Koontz with Pakula/King and
McGowan Mgmt; Carradine with
Fortitude; and Wiggins and
Landon with Liquid LQ.

Morgan plays Dr. Honey Woodcomb who will pay a visit to
Ellie and Awesome. Ryan McPartlin says that Morgan will
reprise her role as Captain Awesome's mother Honey Woodcomb
in this episode. "It's funny because [Honey] and Ellie
(Sarah Lancaster) have to learn how to deal with their new
roles that each one is going to play as a mother and a
grandmother. So that creates a bit of fun drama." Co-star
Lancaster added that the two characters will clash as
Ellie's pregnancy develops. "Morgan Fairchild's character
just thinks that Ellie is not good enough for her perfect
boy," she explained.

Synopsis:
Slammin” Cleon Salmon (Michael Clarke
Duncan) is a former Heavyweight Champion of
the World turned celebrity owner of a high
end Miami seafood restaurant, The Slammin’
Salmon. A terrifying bull of a man, Salmon
uses fear to rule over his misfit waitstaff
(Broken Lizard’s Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin
Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik
Stolhanske, as well as Cobie Smulders and
April Bowlby) and on this particular night,
he takes his bullying skills to a new level.
In an effort to pay off a gambling debt to
the Japanese Yakuza, Salmon sets up a
contest to ‘inspire’ his waitstaff to sell
more food than they ever have before: the
top selling server wins $10,000 while the
waiter in last place gets served with a
broken rib sandwich—courtesy of the Champ
himself. Spurred on by greed and
panic, the staff resort to backstabbing,
bribery and indecent proposals in an attempt
to upsell their patrons while simultaneously
sabotaging their co-workers. As the hours
pass, the dining room action becomes more
frenzied as the contest escalates into a
brawl for first place in order to win the
money.

Governor Rendell and actress Morgan
Fairchild were in Philadelphia to help unveil a new campaign
aimed at getting out the female vote this Fall. That
TV spot is part of a multi-media campaign aimed at women
across Pennsylvania. Governor Rendell believes the time has
come for more women to get involved in politics -- both
voting and running. Morgan urged women to empower
themselves: "You see what you care about, you
see who agrees with you, you register to vote, you go out
and vote for that person." The campaign is run by the
Pennsylvania Commission for Women ... and Executive Director
Leslie Stiles says it is a non-partisan effort. "We're
not promoting any particular policy position or candidate.
We are promoting participation."
(Ann Curry, Tim Russert
and Morgan)
Tim Russert was
one of the kindest, most interesting people
I've had the pleasure of knowing. The world of politics
and the world in general has lost a great soul.
